Qualifications:

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about their work, and is dedicated to supporting clients in reaching their full potential. The ideal candidate embraces a neuro-diversity affirming approach, is creative, compassionate, and strives for service excellence. We welcome applications from new graduates, and mentorship is available.

Job Responsibilities:

● Assess and treat children and/or adults with speech language, cognitive communication, literacy, learning needs and swallowing disorders and differences.
● Develop intervention plans that are meaningful and relevant to the client and their family.
● Manage your caseload and communicate with admin support for scheduling needs.
● Supervising communication disorder assistants and volunteers.
● Collaborate with community partners to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
● Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Pediatric experience or adult neurological experience is an asset.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
● a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance in Ontario
● good standing with CASLPO ● professional liability insurance of a minimum $2 million
